Situated on a 0.43-acre corner lot, this 6,700-square-foot commercial event venue was designed to transform an underutilized parcel into a vibrant, high-capacity gathering space. The project includes two flexible banquet halls supported by a central professional kitchen and bar service, carefully planned to maximize both functionality and long-term investment value.
The client’s vision was to create a premier banquet and event facility that would perform financially while offering an exceptional guest experience. Within a single-story footprint, the layout needed to balance revenue-generating event space with efficient back-of-house operations, circulation, and code-compliant parking. At the same time, the building had to contribute positively to the pedestrian-oriented commercial corridor and surrounding neighborhood.
Our approach focused on both operational efficiency and the human experience.
Key elements include:
By carefully organizing circulation and maximizing usable square footage, the design ensures that the venue works beautifully behind the scenes while feeling welcoming and open to guests.
Through close collaboration and guidance through the city planning review process, the 0.43-acre lot was transformed into a fully realized commercial event venue. The final design balances smart business planning, code-compliant site development, and thoughtful neighborhood integration — creating a space that supports both celebration and community presence.
