Designed as a private family estate, this 5,200 sq. ft. custom residence blends elegance with comfort. The expansive 0.64 acre setting allows for a seamless composition of the main home, a detached ADU, and a serene swimming pool, creating a lifestyle that feels both refined and relaxed. Every detail was considered to ensure the home feels cohesive, timeless, and deeply personal.

When designing a custom luxury home of this scale, our goal was not only to create something impressive, but to design a residence that feels lived in and deeply personal. Large homes can sometimes feel overwhelming or disconnected, so we focused on thoughtful architectural planning that balances expansive spaces with intimacy and comfort.

Natural light became the foundation of the design. Double height ceilings and carefully placed clerestory windows allow sunlight to pour in throughout the day, creating bright, airy interiors and a strong connection to indoor outdoor living. Every room feels intentional and connected.

For a family that loves to host, we incorporated a dual kitchen layout with a main kitchen for gathering and a separate prep kitchen to support seamless entertaining. The dining area opens fully to the backyard, reinforcing the flow between the modern residence and its surrounding landscape.

The landscaping was designed as an extension of the architecture. Using climate appropriate, locally suited plantings, we created a sustainable garden that frames the swimming pool and detached ADU while softening the home’s modern lines.

The result is a light filled custom estate that feels both architecturally striking and warmly livable. Every window, walkway, and sightline was intentionally placed to support daily life, connection, and comfort.
